Hello everyone, sorry it has been a while since I have posted, life took off a bit here. I pray everyone had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving.
I am amazed at the phases of life. We can hardly wait until we are done with school and meet the "right one", and then...get married. Not long after that the children come along...one..two..three..FOUR! We invest all we have in them, nurturing, loving, instucting and sometimes it is a battle but all along we feel we "have arrived". We are a family. Then one day you wake up and your children are off to college and suddenly they begin this life journey and they find the "right one" and the circle of life begins again only this time I watch from outside the circle.
For those who have not met Nicole's "right one" I would like to introduce you to him and post a picture so you have a face to the stories that will be imerging. This is Aaron Roberts. They met of course in college and have been affecting each others grades ever since! My dear precious Nicole, the one who hates the phone, used 4,000 minutes talking to this boy.....in one month! Can you believe that. What can one person possible have to say for 4,000 minutes? I guess I shouldn't make fun of them Leonard and I are still like that. But I am not paying for 4,000 minutes so they have been instructed to communicate in person. After all they are on the same campus.
Aaron has a tremendous story about his walk with the Lord that I hope one day to share with you all. I will not do it now because I do not have his permission and for some people that journey is a private one but I will say this.....Aaron is a fabulous example of the power of the Gospel to work in people's lives and we are truly blessed that he has come into our lives. I believe that these two together will accomplish great things for the kingdom of God. I guess as a mother he is an answer to prayers. I know you moms out there know what I am talking about. And he makes her laugh and play and that is what she needs. There is a rumor that ring shopping has begun so you all have been warned. I will let you all know as soon as I hear an official word.
And so there you go.... my wonderful daughter begin her journey in life ....as the world turns. praise God!

Wow! That is really wonderful that Nicole has found such a great man. It is hard for me to believe that she is even in college! I am in denial. Of course, I am in denial that my own children are growing. I am excited to read more about Aaron. Love you guys!! Mary
I am sure he is a very special guy if Nicole's heart has been stolen! I look forward to meeting him someday, hopefully sooner than later. As for the weather around here, it is pretty WET and windy, especially at the coast. I5 is actually closed for several miles between Portland and Seattle. I know it took some acquatinances of mine 9 hours to get home from Seattle yesterday! But of course good 'ole Newberg stays just wet. No drama here! Love you guys!
P.S..... I was going to tell you that since you are set up that only people with Google accounts can comment mom can't comment. I wasn't sure if this was something you set up, of if blogger did it for you. But if you want to change it to where you don't have to have an account, you'll probably get comments from my mama.
